Lindsay Lohan has been casted in a film! w00t!

That's right, our gurl Lindsay is back to the big screen in an independent comedy called The Other Side. _{(just about all films these days are labeled "independent".)}

The film is about a grad student (that's Lindsay's part!) who spends time doing scientific research on a remote island, and finds a community there who are hiding a secretive past. The movie also stars Giovanni Ribisi, Woody Harrelson, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morrisette.

Here is hoping that this film actually gets a chance in theaters!

In any case, I'm happy to see Lindsay back in action.
